J M Garg's Bird Photography

Garg’s orientation towards bird photography started around 10 years back. He is an ardent lover of nature. He did several treks in Himalayas. Contributed his photos to groups like delhibirdpix, orientalbirdimages, India-nature-pixs and is the moderator for the group indiantreepix. He photographed about 350 species of birds which include some rare species.
J.M. Garg, who works in S.E.Railways has produced a book on ‘Photo guide to The Birds of Kolkata'. This book contains his works along with photographs from 24 wildlife photographers of India. For a review of the book visit

He plans, to write books, on Trees of Kolkata and Butterflies of Kolkata. His knowledge and love for nature, makes it possible, to produce, such books in future.
